Exploring the Pathwork Process

All of us are born into families that have some level of dysfunction. As children, we are deeply imprinted by our families, and we unconsciously take on their basic assumptions about life; their attitudes, opinions, and overall worldview. As we try to individuate, these old assumptions and attitudes can keep us locked in unproductive patterns of belief and behavior. Because our childhood worldviews are largely unconscious, we can get easily confused and lost as we try to break free of them. The unconscious rules that govern us often leave us unfulfilled and we don't even know why.

In this workshop, we will offer the space to "break" those family rules by talking about what led to the rules and we will open to trusting others and ourselves as we feel and express our feelings in a safe environment. We may include Pathwork lectures, meditation, ritual, Core Energetics, and individual process.

Julia Jensen is a Pathwork Helper, a teacher in the Transformation Program, and a certified healer. Her practice is in Mechanicsville, Va, where she works with both individuals and groups in the Pathwork as well as working with energy as it moves through the body and aura.

Michelle Basile is a certified Pathwork teacher and an Apprentice Helper in the Pathwork Transformation Program. A trained energy healer and professional musician and conductor, she currently works with gifted teenagers, helping them to experience performance as a spiritual journey.
